"Shots Fired" Call

This call is an example of the critical incidents that the Telecommunicator can face daily and how to properly handle the situation when an officer yells "shots fired". The Telecommunicator remained calm and in control. Safety is the #1 concern of the Telecommunicator.

 

"Turkey" Call
The following call is an example of how to properly and professionally handle the non-emergency calls that are received. This call came in on Christmas morning when all was quiet and eventually found its way to the Jay Leno Show.
